WE’VE LIVED THROUGH WORSE

Short Drama | Pre-Production

It’s the end of the world. And the show must go on.

San Francisco. The very near future.

An asteroid is on a collision course with Earth. The countdown has begun. There’s no power, no water, no law, no rescue. Just chaos. And time, slipping away.

In the Tenderloin, beneath flickering lights and fading hope, one last performance is about to begin.

Leo, a tender-hearted drag performer with a habit of putting others first, has been granted the final slot at his spiritual home: Aunt Charlie’s, San Francisco’s oldest surviving drag bar. But as the city outside crumbles, Leo can’t choose a song. Can’t quiet the noise in his head. Can’t make peace with a life that still feels unfinished.

There’s so much he hasn’t done.
So many things he hasn’t said.
And now, no time left to fix it.

WE’VE LIVED THROUGH WORSE is a grounded sci-fi drama about facing the end and finding joy anyway. A celebration of queerness, community, and radical self-expression in the face of extinction. It’s a love letter to drag, to chosen family, and to the courage it takes to stand in your truth, even as the world burns.
